Living Alone Eating Hacks
Soup is my good friend
Soup is easy to make and easy to store once you made them. There are ton of nutrients in it. Once you made the soup, you can freeze the soup in the freezer and microwave it once you want to eat. You can make lots of soup at one time, and divided them into individual services, that could make your life much more easier.
Frozen your fruits
I don’t know about you, but when I go to the supermarket buying fruits, after under the careful choice. I ended up with buying tons of fruits. As we all know, fruits are really easy to get rot. To prevent this, there is my hacks: I froze my fruits right away coming back from the supermarket. This way the fruits will have a longer “living time”. Additionally, Frozen fruits are good for making fruits, smoothies, cakes, etc...
Buy single-serving treats
Buying single-serving treats could prevent wasting food and getting soggy. You might say that family bags treats are cheaper. Let me tell you, for example if you bought a family bag chips, you can’t finish it by yourself at one day right? After the chips get soggy, you wouldn’t want to eat it, you might just throw them in your trash can. Right? If you start buying single-serving chips, you can enjoy fresh crispy chips every time.
Be Organization
By saying be organized, I mean two things. First, organize your meals. Living alone means you have to organize your meals by yourself. Meal planning saves you a ton of time and money. Try making a rough meal plan for two weeks. That way you can freeze some of the stuff you make this week and eat it next week. This makes it less likely you'll waste food and helps you avoid eating the same thing every day. Second, staying organized when you are cooking, or I can say make your kitchen clean. You don’t want to spend 30 mins on cooking and 1 hour on cleaning the kitchen after each meal right? Then you could clean your kitchen while you are cooking. Putting the thing you grab back after you used them. Clean your pot or pan right after you used it, this way the pot or pan will be easy to clean.
